Frameless Notebook is an independent publication by Daniel M and was developed to be a personal platform of expression of the Author.

What is a Frameless Notebook?

How do you handle all the thoughts and ideas you have each day? How you allow your ideas to interact with each other? How do you nurture them? Transform them? Or archive them?

What I have is something that I used to call my ‘Everything Notebook’. A simple notebook in which I would write everything i found interesting in a day, from both professional and personal lives:

  • Had an idea? It goes to the notebook!
  • Read something interesting? To the notebook!
  • Had a crazy chat with a colleague? Bim! To the notebook!
  • Needed to vent a little bit? Well.. The notebook is there.

This process helped me so many times through my professional life that I’ve become deeply passionated about it. A simple notebook, filled with a variety of letters and sentences that I would revisit so very often when I needed support or inspiration. It helped me to understand a lot of the world… about me and my job. It helped me study more, reflect more, engage with abstract concepts, resonate through emotions and more often then not, laugh, cry, be surprised and amazed. Emerged Ideas have been providing for my aspirations and goals, as a strategy professional.

Today, I changed the way I speak about my ‘Everything Notebook’, It has evolved to something more focused, still, with no Frames, Frameless. So, why Frameless? Because a Frameless Notebook is about stepping outside rigid perspectives to explore ideas in a broader, more flexible way. Is having days, weeks, month of reasoning in your pocket, ready to go whenever the need rises.

What you will find here?

Although this is an independent, personal blog, you will find articles and resources about different topics from my professional experience. Stories about strategy, leadership, critical thinking, and some open thoughts or unstructured ideas out of the professional sphere. Like If you were reading my own ‘Frameless Notebook’!

We’re living in a fast paced, attention based, world where nobody reads anymore. So what I hope is that you take your time to challenge the status quo, to pause, and allow yourself to navigate someone elses notes and thoughts 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
